Starting Over

I haven't written in so long. But I'm home sick for this whole week, so why not? Since all of this drama with the swine flu, and other flus, if you have a fever you are not allowed back into the school for 7 days. Well lucky me, getting a 102 degree fever and having "flu-like symptoms" on my last full week of school. The school year is practically over, and by not going to school this week I'm missing all of my finals. Great, right? This isn't how I wanted my last two weeks in Liberty Middle School to end, but I guess nothing goes as planned. As I sit here at home watching a Degrassi marathon, I have finally realized that I'm a freshman in about two and a half months. That thought scares me more than it has this whole year. Everything I've known for these two years will be completely gone, and replaced by something entirely new. I'll be walking the huge halls of West Orange High School rather than the small halls of Liberty. Last Thursday I woke up at 5:30 and arrived at my school at about 6:15 to go to our end of the year trip, Baltimore. It was a lot of fun that I needed. I hadn't had that much fun in a very very long time. So many inside jokes were created and even brought up again in those two days I was away from West Orange. So many new memories were created that I will never forget. I hadn't laughed as hard as I did those two days in a while. Even though the rain totally killed our dinner cruise and we arrived to the hotel soaked, it still ended up great. I might start writing in here again, I'm not sure. But for now, goodbye.
